Summary

On August 31, the Federal Circuit issued its much anticipated decision for In Re Bose Corporation decision, reversing cancellation of the BOSE mark by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and remanding to restrict the mark to actual commercial activities.  AIPLA is pleased to provide a seminar with two very experienced practitioners of marks discussing the ramifications and practical pointers in light this decision.  Susan Hightower is a Senior Associate with Pirkey Barber and argued AIPLA's amicus brief during oral argument In Re Bose Corporation.  Linda McLeod is a partner with Finnegan whose practice focuses on litigation.
