Presented by

Heidi Sullivan, Vice President of Media Research for Cision

Summary

From the growth of social media and television to the decline of print media to the rise of citizen journalism, determining the ideal media mix for your campaign is becoming increasingly difficult. How do you find time for it all? Is it better to be on YouTube or Facebook? Should you cut back on pitching newspapers to participate in conversations on Twitter? How can you reach multiple media types with the same campaign?

This session will show you how to determine where your campaign will be most successful in the media mix, offer insight into current trends in social media, explore ways to save time by reaching out across media platforms and present real-world case studies and examples of campaigns that target the right mix.

Takeaways:
  • Making sense of different social media platforms and how each fits into a communications plan
  • How to determine which media types are best for particular campaigns
  • How to balance social media and traditional media
  • Creating compelling content that will succeed across mediums through multimedia and shareable content
