About the Speaker Kathleen K. Wright is a professor in the graduate tax program at California State University--Fullerton. She is a CPA and a lawyer with an M.B.A. (Taxation) and an LL.M. (Taxation). Ms. Wright has a tax practice in Orange County that specializes in small business tax planning and client representation on issues related to California income tax matters. She is the author of CCH's California Income Tax Manual and she writes frequently for Tax Analysts' State Tax Notes as a correspondent reporting on California developments. Ms. Wright lectures frequently for professional groups, particularly the California CPA Education Foundation, where she conducts a number of seminars primarily on California tax issues. She has been awarded the Education Foundation's Instructor of the Year Award, the Outstanding Course Materials Award, and the Award for Meritorious Service.
