Misty Kevech, RN, BS Ed, MS, COS-C  is currently the Director of Nursing Education and Program Development for Celtic Healthcare.  She was previously the Communication/Training Manager for Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, the Home Health Quality Improvement Organization (QIO)Support Center, where she coordinated and produced tools and resources for QIOs and home health agencies nationally.  She has provided national presentations on many topic areas, especially related to best practices, immunizations and interventions to reduce avoidable acute care hospitalizations and quality improvement. She received her bachelor's degree in public health care education and her master's of science degree of Professional Leadership with emphasis on training and development. Over 25 years of home care experience, primarily in quality improvement and education.

 

 

Barbara Huston, RN, BSN, COS-C

Barbara Huston, RN, BSN, COS-C has over 29 years of nursing experience ranging from nursing faculty in a community college to staff education in critical care. For the last 15 years she has worked in Home Health and Hospice as a staff nurse and then as a Quality Assurance Manager. She is currently a Performance Improvement Coordinator for Celtic Healthcare were her duties include regulatory guidance, policy and procedure development and education, quality improvement activities, safety and infection control preparedness and coordination, and staff education.

 

Michelle Abeln, PT, DPT, WCC
Wound Specialist/Rehab Preceptor
Celtic Healthcare

 

Michelle Abeln received her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 1997 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2007. Michelle is a Wound Care Certified clinician through the National Alliance of Wound Care.  Michelle is currently the rehab preceptor and wound care certified clinician at Celtic Healthcare in Carlisle, PA. In this role, she helps to manage the daily activities of rehab services, consults on wound care patients, and develops interdisciplinary wound care plans.  Michelle also assists in marketing and program development at Celtic. Michelle is an active member of the APTA and presented nationally at the Combined Sections Meeting. Michelle was also published in the Quarterly Report of the HomeHealth Sections newsletter.

 

Andra Roig, RN, BSN
Telehealth-Disease Management Supervisor
Celtic Healthcare

 

Andra Roig has 25 years of nursing experience working in the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, Cardiac Step Down, ICU, Surgical Orthopedics, and Home Care. She joined Celtic Healthcare in 2007 as the Telehealth- Disease Management Supervisor and has created Celtic's Telehealth- Disease Management Programs. Andra currently oversees all telehealth and disease management initiatives at Celtic Healthcare. She is a 1985 graduate of Youngstown State University and is currently pursing post-graduate education.
