Summary

No one wants the company left in the lurch when the next influenza pandemic sweeps across the globe, threatening lives and livelihood. And much has been said about how to prepare--maybe even too much.

But when it comes right down to it, in this period of big budget squeezes and dueling priorities, it's the planning mistakes that could exact the greatest toll. To ensure your company is set to survive--and not on the brink of demise--you need to know and avoid the biggest planning blunders some of the strongest businesses today are making.

Join us as two internationally respected authorities in preparedness and risk communication combine their years of expertise and integrity to equip you with the definitive "need-to-know" information in a lively interactive Webinar. Widely known for their candor, vision, and drive for results, Michael T. Osterholm, PhD, MPH, and Peter M. Sandman, PhD, will fortify you with insights, energy, and real-world action steps.

Among the mistakes they'll discuss are:
  • Depending on news media to sound an alarm early enough
  • Believing any planning is simply futile
  • Using the all-hazards approach when planning for a pandemic
  • Perfectionism
  • Shying away from communication that creates fear
  • Considering your plan finished
  • Leaving out of planning efforts the least visible, yet most critical people
Also included in this 90-minute Webinar is the rare opportunity to ask your own questions of these experts during a live question and answer period!
