Summary

Have we seen the last of H1N1? Is H5N1 still a concern? Smart organizations are finding ways to embed what they've learned into their organizations right now. Yours can, too. Hear from and interact with experts who've forged ways through the H1N1 pandemic, and leverage what they've learned to help you be better prepared for what comes next.

CIDRAP Business Source is bringing together expert planners from two Fortune 500 companies and a world-renowned authority in pandemic influenza and infectious diseases to inform your efforts and answer your questions.

Join us as this expert panel combines years of expertise to equip you with the definitive "need-to-know" information in a live, interactive Webinar. Your participation will provide you with access to current, authoritative information and immediate real-world action steps, including aggregate results of confidential live polling for benchmarking purposes and an opportunity to pose questions directly to the experts.

Panelists will:
  • Dissect the latest scientific information on H1N1 and key items to consider as we move forward
  • Update attendees on the status of H5N1, other influenza strains, and infectious disease threats to monitor
  • Describe how their organizations are making the lessons they've learned stick
  • Provide insight into the range of human resource policies and practices including absenteeism, sick-leave pay, travel, and recovered workers returning to work
  • Detail how key tools from H5N1 (bird flu) planning were useful when H1N1 (swine flu) began, what approaches and practices had to be "stepped down," and how at least two major corporations plan to stay flexible and responsive
  • Discuss the challenges of personal protective equipment (PPE) storage and distribution and how one company adapted to meet the needs on the ground
  • Share innovative ideas about unused stockpiles of supplies, including PPE as well as H1N1 vaccine available through public health and healthcare providers
